2012 BMW 6-Series Coupe – BMW 650i Coupe twin packs new 4.4-liter turbocharged V-8 engine, making 400 hp (and 450 pounds-ft peak torque at just 1750 rpm), and can run up to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds with either manual six-speed transmission or eight-speed automatic. Top speed is limited to 155 mph. At the Detroit Auto Show January, the wraps off exciting new BMW 6-Series 2012 in the form of convertible. Now we get the first official appearance in 2012 BMW 650i Coupe.

At first glance, the production 650i Coupe really does not look much different from the concept of the BMW 6-Series Coupe show last year at the Paris show-and which, in turn, not far from the render we showed you last summer. The body length and wheelbase has increased by almost three inches, and there is 1.5 inches wider, because the track width increases, which helps improve both attitude and roadholding of the vehicle.

Active Roll Stabilization is optional, and works with standard Dynamic Damper Control system to provide flat cornering response and sharpen it without cutting into the big coupe comfort. Inside, the 6-Series is the latest to be more in tune with the 5-Series sedan, including a very detailed, cover feel to the instrument panel. Center of high-definition screen that stands alone and is now 10.2-inch size, to the display, live flat-screen monitors. The fourth version of the latest generation iDrive, which we no longer hate, are standard.

Among the features offered are LED lights adaptive (own distinctive style points), rearview camera with surround view, BMW Night Vision with pedestrian recognition, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Change Warning. A high-end Bang & Olufsen surround sound system is also offered. 2012 BMW 650i Convertible starts at $ 91,375, including destination.
