2012 BMW M5 Concept – BMW says that the new engine of the 2012 M5 offers improved performance and efficiency than ever before. They also say he has a fuel consumption 25% lower and CO2 emissions. In terms of environmentally friendly technology, the new BMW M5 is equipped with Auto Start Stop function that temporarily shut down the engine when stopped at a crossroads or in a tailback.
As far as specs go though the engine, the BMW still keep them secret. What they do is confirm that 2012 BMW M5 will have a high-revving V8 engine the new M-tech twin-turbo. Most of the previous sources have speculated that 2012 BMW M5 will have the same machine with X5M and X6M.
In terms of design, M5 2012 continue to show all the trademark features of its predecessor, including side air vent and four-pipe exhaust system. 2012 BMW M5 concept and production versions, feature 20-inch forged rims with 265/35 ZR20 tires in front and 265/35 ZR20 tires for the rear axle.
