2010 Ferrari 599 GTB HY-KERS Concept

Ferrari 599 GTB HY-KERS concept exhibited to the public at the Geneva Motor Show 2010. HY-KERS is based on the 599 GTB Fiorano, but significant, the technology may someday be plugged into all the future of Ferrari, 8 – and 12-cylinder same, irrespective of the position of their machine. One of the principle objectives of this project is to ensure that Ferrari will be in a position to meet the CO2 emission standards in the future, especially in the urban cycle. In the course of the year 2010, Ferrari will cut CO2 emissions by 30,000 tons (-40 percent) and Particulate Matter (PM) levels to 65 percent. This will be achieved thanks to the photovoltaic system and Italy’s largest companies trigeneration plants (which produce electricity, hot and cold water), a Ferrari completely independent from the viewpoint of energy.
