2010 Matech Ford GT1

We have some information, picture, feature and detail about 2010 Matech Ford GT1 : Competition Matech stopped in Spain on the Ascari circuit to perform the roll-out of new cars.  Matech concept, based on lowering the previous prototype of the season, began developing the new Ford GT1 since 2009, before the new GT Championship regulations come into force. By Thomas Mutsch behind the wheel, the first meters GT1 Ford goes according to plan, such as drivers and Martin Bartek had hoped: “The car was really new”. Competition Matech seven drivers have been invited to participate in a comparative test in the “special” Ford GT3 in Portimão circuit, to determine the final line-up for the cockpits of the two Ford GT1. For this test, they will drive one of our Ford GT3 cars that we have removed the air restrictor ballast and so it will handle the same way on the track as GT1, “explains Martin Bartek. The test will be in GT1 in the circuit Motorland Ford near Alcañiz.
